FESTIVALS IN URUM ANIKE KINGDOM

1. Egwu Ori Festival: This is one of the major and most famous festivals in Urum Anike used to honour the revered Ori Deity. It stands as the pinnacle of Urum Anike's sociocultural and religious events. It is an annual event that usually occurs between January or February of every passing year according to the Igbo Lunar Calendar. it serves as an annual IGU-ARO celebration for the people of Urum Anike Kingdom.

2.Olili Opoto or Olili Ede Festival: This festival is an exclusive cocoyam festival for the womenfolk in Urum Anike Kingdom in order to proclaim their loyalty and dedication to their husbands. It occurs annually in the month of March (Onwa iri na otu) according to the Igbo Lunar Calendar.

3.Olili Oke Festival: It is an annual festival usually celebrated by the male folks especially teenagers and youths in the community. The Festival takes place in June (Onwa ibo or abuo) of every year in the Igbo Lunar Calendar.

4.Olili Ike Nwayolayo: This is also a jubilant occasion tailored for the young women of Urum Anike. The festival takes place in November (Onwa isato or asato) of every year in the Igbo Lunar Calendar. It is mostly a joyous moment where the community witnesses the exuberance of its teenage and youth female population.
